Frames: Bio-Based Rilsan® G850
Our sunglasses are made from Arkema’s Rilsan® G850, a high-performance, bio-based polymer made in part from castor beans. It’s 45% bio-based, made from plants that grow in tough, unused soil without competing with food crops. It’s a smarter, more sustainable alternative to fossil-based plastics.
But sustainability doesn’t mean compromise. Rilsan® G850 is tough, flexible, and up to 29% lighter than standard materials. That means less pressure on your nose and ears, and durability that stands up to sun, sweat, and serious wear.
Lenses: Recycled Polycarbonate
Our lenses are made with recycled polycarbonate, giving new life to post-consumer and post-industrial plastics like bottles, CDs, and old lenses.
And just like everything we make, performance comes first. These lenses are lightweight, optically clear, and impact-resistant, so you get the durability and clarity you expect, with a smaller footprint.
