Revant Exclusive Lenses
We could fall in line and do what everyone else is doing.
We could settle for creating only what someone else has decided is “best.”
We could. But we won’t.
Because we recognize—
Just because something works for someone else, doesn’t mean it’s the best option for you.
Holding firm to the mentality that we can always improve to offer you better options, we sat down and reimagined the concept, function, and look of a few key lens styles for your favorite frames.
After scouring product reviews, wading pages deep into forums, and talking to our community, we developed six lenses that offer performance benefits that solve common user problems.
For some designs, it was as simple as removing vents from lenses that currently don’t have any non-vented options. Turns out, not everyone wants a vented lens. If you have Oakley Jawbreaker or Oakley Radar EV Path frames, you now have options beyond the stock vented lens.
And some people love vents. So, we created new vented options for the Flak 2.0 (in both a standard and XL lens size) and for the M Frame Sweep. After quite a few different prototypes and rounds of testing, we engineered ventilation that maximizes airflow while keeping wind and debris away from your eyes.
For the Oakley M2 and the Radar, we designed completely new, custom lens shapes.
Developed with cyclists in mind, our Aero lens for the Oakley M2 frames features straight lines along the bottom of the lens to cut wind while still providing clearance of high cheekbones. This design addresses the problem some have with the scalloped edge of the stock lens, which can allow too much rushing air to hit the eyes, causing them to sting and tear up. For those who run into fogging issues, we also created a vented version of our Aero lens, adding 4 horizontal vents along the brow to pull air in and along the back of the lens.
