Do I Really Need Polarized Sunglasses?

Polarization cuts glare, increases visibility, and lets you see underwater. In short, it helps you do the things you love better. And once you’ve taken that hairpin without getting blinded or looked a fish straight in the eye, you’ll never go back.

Unmatched Quality

We don’t know everything, but we know lenses. The last ten years have been all about testing, testing, testing. Every single material, coating, and manufacturing method has been evaluated. Only the best are used for our lenses.

Questions About Replacing Your Oakley Latch Alpha OO4128 Lenses?

Can I replace the lenses in my sunglasses?

Yes, most name-brand sunglasses have lenses that can be replaced. Revant lenses are custom-cut for specific frame models and include installation instructions. In most cases, you can replace the lenses at home in under two minutes.

How do I know if Revant lenses will fit my frame?

Check the model name or number printed on the inside temple of your sunglasses. Revant lenses are made for exact frame models, not just similar styles. If the model on your frame matches the one listed on our product page, you’ll get a perfect fit.

If you're unsure or don't see a model name or number, contact us and we can help make sure you get the right lenses for your sunglasses.

What’s the difference between Revant lenses and my original lenses?

Revant lenses are aftermarket, not OEM, but they’re engineered to meet or exceed the performance of original lenses. Each lens is traced from the original frame model using high-precision digital scanners that capture its unique curvature and edge geometry down to fractions of a millimeter. That means you get a lens cut to fit your frame exactly. No guesswork, no gaps, and no rattle.

Beyond fit, Revant lenses are tested for optical clarity, impact resistance, and durability. We also offer upgrades like polarization, MirrorShield® tints, anti-reflective coatings, and hydrophobic layers that go beyond what many stock lenses provide.

Almost perfect

"The sunglasses lens is great quality, has great optics when viewed through the lens, has great color, and great polarization. The main drawback is a lack of anti-glare on the inside of the lens, which causes quite a bit of reflection during the day."

Maybe I was naive

"I replaced my original Oakley Prizm Polarised Iridium lenses with Revant's Elite Polarised, Black Chrome, Mirrorshield. I ordered the Revant lenses as I don't love the aesthetic look of bright lenses on sunglasses and Oakley now doesn't make replacement lenses for Latch Alpha. I really did want to love these lenses but the fit is a bit tighter than I'd hoped and I feel like I've had to over-tighten the screws that hold the aluminium frame together. The look of the lenses is fine aesthetically, but I'm a bit disappointed with the performance of the lens. Maybe I'd gotten used to the stock Oakley Prizm Polarised lenses, but I feel like there is not close to the same amount of contrast in colour and light with the Revant lenses which I am a bit disappointed with. I'm not sure if it's due to the lens not fitting the frame perfectly and having to over tighten and maybe ever-so-slightly warp the lens but there is definitely a warp in the image when compared to the Oakley lenses. Though, it should be noted I cannot notice this unless doing a side by side comparison and really looking for the flaw. Overall I don't regret purchasing these lenses and am not wanting to return them at all. If in future I do scratch the Revant lenses I will purchase another set of them as they do the job and well Oakley aren't making replacements lenses. But I just can't shake feeling a little disappointed, but maybe that's just do to unreal expectations. If there ever comes a time when a lens can be made that shows the same contrast, colour profile & tint of the Prizm Polarised Iridium, Whilst looking like a black lens aesthetically. Well I'd pick that up in a heart beat. Overall I'm glad to have the ability to replace lenses in a frame that is now discontinued, and will purchase from Revant in future if need be."

Q&A

The replacement lenses for the Latch Alpha says they come with a screw driver. But in the “How To Replace” video it doesn’t replace a Latch Alpha lens. Can you please tell me what the process is as I do not want to damage my frames
Sorry for the confusion there. There are two screws on the lower corners of the frame at the bottom of the nose bridge that need to be removed to change the lenses. We'll work on getting that video fixed!
