Midnight Sun Elite Polarized, Not quite Ruby, but excellent for the price.

"My first experience with Revant was back in the early 2010's. I visited the website and picked up a set of Midnight Sun lenses for my Flak Jacket XLJ. The pictures didn't quite match what I received, and Customer Service was happy to do an exchange and get a set I would be happier with to me. Those lenses were thinner than OEM and ultimately I didn't like the fit, but I kept them in rotation for a while. Ultimately, I didn't give Revant another fair chance until a few years ago when I was hunting for "ruby" lenses for my Oakley Split Shot. Again, I chose Midnight Sun, but opted for the Elite variant. Those lenses blew my mind in terms of build quality compared to the much earlier mid -tier ones I had formed my opinion with. The only thing I did not like with those was the lack of the blue tint my Oakley Ruby Polarized lenses had. Optical quality, to my ability to discern, was excellent. Fast forward to this week, and I received a pair for my X Metal XX. Evolution is evident as the lense coating looks better than even the Split Shots. The view is cool, and grey. While I understand aiming for neutral, as some people perhaps would not like the blue tint, that is literally the only qualm I still have. Original Oakley Ruby lenses had something in the lense coating that created that OG blue tone while looking through. An Oakley Forums member (kronin) did an experiment where he removed the lense coating proving the lense coating, not the lense itself was how that color tone was achieved. I wish Revant had checked this box, but I am still thoroughly impressed with the quality and aesthetics. The outside coloration of the lense coating is the closest I have seen to OG Ruby. These will become one of my go-to lense replacements. One thing I will note is having some sort of dye-injected lense options (Similar to Prizm or Amp) would be a good competitive move and allow users to achieve the next echelon of vision. I am digging these lenses, and will say Revant is a great option to consider Is it OG Oakley Ruby Polar? No. However, these are one of the best I have seen yet. On sale, I think I paid right around $47 for these. Absolutely a great price point. Id easily pay double that for a clone of OG Ruby Polar. Many Oakley fans would. ;) Revant is consistent with their pricing, packing, and quality. If you are chasing after the blue view looking through, you may be disappointed as looking through is just gray, like all of the other ruby-esque lenses out there. These are excellent aesthetically. I just wish the lense function matched OG Oakley. The optical quality is superb. Fit was spot on, and my X Metal XX frame can be picky. Excellent cut. Revant has made leaps and bounds in quality and consistency since my first soiree years ago. Keep up the good work. I'll keep buying your lenses. :)"

I have a pair of C Metal Juliets. Ordered replacement lenses & they fit great. However, I’m in need of the “rubber bushings” each lens holder has with a hole in it & the 2 “ studs” that go thru keeping the frame all together. And the arm replacement rubbers. Any chance u can locate for me??
Hi Jeff, I'm not sure where you can locate those, but I recommend checking eBay. A local optical shop might also be worth checking out.
