Out of the Box - Pleased So Far

"Ordered the Elite Ice Blue mirror shield version of these hoping to get the best optics possible for the price. Really happy with the product fit/finish out of the box. They popped into the frame pretty solidly - although they are possibly slightly thinner than the stock Smith lens. They just feel a little less substantial - pretty sure the Smith lens is glass and the Revant is plastic. That said - they work. Looked great. Fit in frame snugly with just a tiny, tiny bit of wiggle. The optics were the most important thing to me - and these seem very clear, non-distorted, cut glare (polarized) as well as my other Costa's and original Smith lenses. The colors/contrast don't quite match up with the original lens because they are different base colors - this is just something to get used to as they are just slightly different, not bad though in any way. These are definitely a darker lens - lower VLT, which is great for bright sunny days - my main use case. Really happy! 10/10 would replace lenses again. Hoping the durability and scratch resistance is good, but ultimately, at the price point, seem like really good optics for the price. Really no reason to replace frames if they are still in good shape - just replace the lenses and be on your way."
