"So these are bootleg lens. Used to love my smith promo but these lens are fakes. When dealing with sun glare etc they don't work at all. Have contacted smith but don't become a sucker, these are absolutely trash lens"

A solid replacement

"The good: 1. I got these on sale so they totaled to less than 40 bucks. 2. This brand was recommended to me by Smith's warranty team so I imagine they're the better lens replacement companies out there. 3. The lenses look high quality and look good once installed. 4. These DO fit into the Shoutout frames, and will replace both the glass-lense and the plastic lens. They're just hard to get in. The Ok.. 1. These are not as nice as chromapop lenses - they colors are more washed out and less brilliant as they are on any of my chromapops. 2. They took forever to arrive. 3. They are really hard to get into the Shoutout frame. I was able to get the outside edges lined into place and then used the included lens cloth to reallllllly push the lenses in/frames out to mate the corner closes to the nose. This is def not revants fault, but be aware. Install: To get the old lenses out of the shoutout, you're going to have to put some muscle into it. I tried to warm up the frames, but that still didn't work. I ended up smashing them out with a hammer since they were shattered anyway. So good luck. To get the new lenses in, I lined up the outside edges first and then wrapped the lens in the included cloth to push the lenses into the frames."

As good as the original.

"These are great lenses. Really strong thickness to them. They don't have the amber inner coating that the original Smith lenses have, but the Revant lenses have great polarization."

Good replacement lenses at a good price!

"These lenses replaced my scratched original lenses perfectly. They arrived in a timely manner. I struggled a little with the removal of my original lenses, as the plastic wasn’t very plyable. An internet search revealed that the frames should be submerged in hot water for several minutes in order to help the process. Once installed, the lenses have satisfied. Though no fault of the lense, the mirrored blue scratches quite easily, even through the microfiber bag included. I feel that the bag could be more substantial and have a better closure system."

Don't fit.

"I took my lenses to an optometrist and they didn't fit. They broke my Smith glasses and I had to buy a new pair. I'd like to get a refund."

These are cheaper and seem to work great for my Smith's. I'm going to keep testing them out and then but a pair for the Maui's."
