Not as sharp/vivid as originals

"I purchased these lenses to replace one of my cracked lenses. They fit perfectly but are not as sharp or vivid as the original Costa lenses. I noticed as soon as I put them on and then tried looking through my tinted truck windows from outside and couldn’t see in, I wore them fishing and couldn’t see the grass beds like I usually do and I had a light headache later that day. I put my old lenses back in and it was a huge difference. I could see through my tint, I could see the grass beds and everything just looked sharper. I ordered a pair of originals and just gonna keep these as a spare in case I sell the glasses. They aren’t horrible but not as good as the OEM. For the price you’d expect same or better."

Are these plastic or glass lens: Great question, David. All of our replacement lenses are made of high-quality polycarbonate plastics. This material provides a much higher level of impact protection than glass, which is prone to shatter when it encounters impact. Since so many of our customers are active, we wanted to offer the safest lenses to ensure your eyes are protected.
