Are these available in reading bi- focal: At this time, Revant doesn’t offer standard magnification reading lenses. Instead, we specialize in custom-made prescription lenses. We can make a set of reading glasses for you with a valid prescription from your eye doctor for this focal distance. Additionally, If you already have a single-vision prescription, you may want to consider a pair of progressive lenses. They’ll correct for your near or farsightedness, while also helping you clearly see objects up close. Progressive lenses provide a seamless transition from distance to near vision. If you wear your glasses regularly, progressive lenses may be a worthwhile investment for you. where is Flak 2.0 non vented: At the moment, we're only offering vented lenses for the Flak 2.0 frames. This is an exclusive design and the small air vents are designed to reduce lens fogging, further improving your viewing experience. They're designed to fit your frames perfectly and you can learn more about them HERE But all of our colors and polarization are completely customizable. Also, all of our products come with a 60-day return-for-any-reason guarantee, so there's no risk trying them out!
Are these lenses salt water resistant? So the mirror finish doesn’t come off in the ocean: We suggest doing your best to avoid alcohol-based cleaners, saltwater, and chlorine as these substances can damage MirrorShield® coatings. If your lenses are exposed to these substances, rinse them with fresh water to keep the coating intact.
Do you make replacements for the Flak 2.0?: Yes we do! All of the lenses we make for that model are vented at this time. But all of our lenses are designed to fit the frames they are meant to replace.
What is the best lens for golfing?: For golf we would recommend either Emerald Green or Flare Gold. Both have a nice amount of contrast to help the ball pop against the green, and to help give definition to the terrain.
Why won't you make non vented lenses for the Flak 2.0 frames? I want to get some 2.0 and have bought the regular Flak Jacket lenses from Revant in the past but will have to look elsewhere if all you sell is vented.: Yes, the lenses we offer for this model are just a bit different than your original lenses. They feature small air vents at the top of each lens, which are designed to eliminate lens fogging. The vents are very small as to not hinder your view. That is currently the only lens we make for the Flak 2.0 frames.
When are you going to have non-vented flak 2.0 lenses?: We don't currently have plans to carry non-vented lenses for the Flak 2.0.
